D-Train

In 1982, D-Train's single You're the One for Me" was number one on the Billboard charts for six weeks.

The Birth of D-Train, 1981.

Hubert Eaves III co-founded the group in 1980 with partner James Williams. As the producer, arranger, co-writer and keyboardist, our first single "You’re The One For Me" was a number one Billboard charted dance song (also included in the video game Grand Theft Auto 5). Next, was the perennial dance classic “Keep On" co-written by Hubert and James, which also charted top five and was sampled by the Late Biggie Smalls.  D-Train has recorded a total of five albums and may be heard on numerous compilation albums.
